Events, business conferences and functions have a fixed deadline and can be quite stressful. With thorough planning, an aptitude for logistics and a calm approach, Trish has succeeded in delivering events throughout New Zealand.

REgional Tourism New ZEaland and Inbound Trade DAys

Trish has been contracted to Regional Tourism New Zealand since 2005 to event manage this conference in Auckland.

The event brings together over 100 inbound agents from over 50 inbound travel companies to meet with regional tourism organisations from around New Zealand.

Over two - three days the inbound agents meet with all the regional tourism organisations for the latest product updates and information in developments across the 30 plus tourism regions in New Zealand.

Trish organises the event from venue selection through to delegate registration, catering through to on-the-day logistics.

Tourism Export Council Conference - Te Anau

August 2017

Trish provided services to the board of TECNZ for their annual conference in Te Anau by leading the organisation of the 2017 business conference.

The annual Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) conference brings together full member inbound tour companies along with product suppliers from around New Zealand for several days of meetings and industry updates.

Trish worked closely with the regional tourism organisation of the host region, along with the host hotel Distinction Te Anau Hotel and Villas, and supporting transportation, catering and sightseeing providers.

Tourism New ZEaland- KEA Events

Trish managed Tourism New Zealand’s KEA (Kiwi Expert Agent) Showcase trade day in Auckland 2003 and again in Christchurch in 2005.

The emphasis for this business conference was logistics. Conducted in four different venues, with a variety of transportation formats between each venue, agents had to move around the four different venues in a timely manner throughout the day.

Close liaison with New Zealand tourism product suppliers as their booths were built up to allow them to showcase their tourism products to travel agents specialist in selling New Zealand.
